This month we are finishing The Birchcliffe Center in Hebden Bridge which was formerly a Baptist Chapel in the, which is owned by the Pennine Heritage Charitable Trust Organization this is a 220KW heat pump installation.

The project has 3000 meters of horizontally drilled geothermal collectors taking heat form the ground, with 2 x Thermia Megga's that have been installed into the old plant room.

The  Center consists of a School, Hostel with eight rooms sleeping 33 individuals, Theater, Community Spaces which are rented out for different occasions such as weddings and productions and also includes a Mezzanine Floor with Business Meeting and Computer facilities situated in the main hall, Kitchens and Offices a total of 1900 square meters within this building complex.

The building is extensively utilized by the local community and visitors throughout the year both during the day time and for evening events.

The radiators and pipe work throughout have been upgraded where necessary, and the Thermia Megga heat pumps were installed in place of the old system situated in the basement area of the main building. A new Blown Air system has been updated in the Theater placed on plinths above the stage and also along the sides of the room.
